It does seem to be much more than influencing the crypto trends.
Before DogeCoin, cryptocurrencies were known to the masses but understood by a few. With the entrance of the memecoin, not only has everyone understood the concept of cryptocurrencies, but they have learned the nitty-gritty of making them work around them, and none other than the infamous Doge father is responsible.
Elon popularized the belief that the mass itself makes a cryptocurrency soar or tank, and that anyone can make a dime or a fortune out of it if we envision the same vision for it. His tweets and the sudden impact they made on the trend made people understand that the crypto market is naturally very volatile and its decisions need to be quick, far-sighted, and with a common belief. Dogecoin’s character of a memecoin further added on to the education, helping people figure cryptocurrencies out through memes, and actually making conversations happen around it.
Elon erased the gap between himself and the rest of the world when the discussion was about crypto. We were all on the same page, anticipating the next tweet, thinking, thinking about the next soar, waiting for our charts to turn green.
For once, he acted as this giant leader, bringing the masses to the same page. The world learned. Dogecoin was never the deal, his influence on the coin was still not the deal, the deal was to teach people to step into the crypto-world, to bring it to everyday life, and eventually give rise to a giant empire of the world of cryptocurrencies.
Dogecoin walked so Shiba Inu coin and Baby Doge could run. At this point, people very well understand how this works, they understand how to take something worth $0.004 and make it $1 or more; and most importantly, they understand the world of cryptocurrency demands no attachment, no clinging to one thought, one coin, it’s a frequently changing world. Elon’s SNL visit was a big blow to those thinking Doge is IT! No, it wasn’t, there is no IT in this world, and just as he said, it’s a hustle, and he taught us to learn it, and earn from it.
While the world struggles to understand a billionaire’s role in a memecoin, what we somehow failed to notice was his almost giant leadership, and how communication to the masses for good is still possible. Elon has just hired a giant group of people for free, to work on one of his dream concepts, and we are more than willing to chime in! :)
